You’ll have an opportunity to see the Swedish-born actress on the small screen in the near future regardless. She’s starring in Showtime’s new drama, Billions, set to premiere on January 17, 2016.
“So far it’s been fabulous,” Malin teased. “It is a really great cast and it’s really high-caliber. The show feels sort of like House of Cards mixed with The Wolf of Wall Street.”
Need another reason to watch? Malin’s badass character, Lara, is married to Damian Lewis’ character, Bobby. Talk about a gorgeous on-screen couple!
“They are the Axelrods and they are billionaires but they both come from blue collar families so they have the same set of values,” the former Trophy Wife star teased. “She has her own business, he’s got his, and they come together to work together as a great team. And she’s not to be messed with. If you mess with her family, she will cut you. It’s a lot of fun to play that strong female character.” source:
